Gaaapps ("we", "us", or "our") built the Elite Alarm app as a Freemium app. This SERVICE is provided by Gaaapps and is intended for use as is.

This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use our Service.

If you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that we collect is used for providing and improving the Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

For a better experience, while using our Service, we may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information. The information that we request will be retained by us and used as described in this privacy policy.

Habit, Calendar, and Alarm Data

Data related to your alarms, habits, calendar events, and tracking history is stored locally on your device. This ensures fast, secure, and offline functionality without needing to upload your personal daily routines to our servers.

The app supports Android Auto Backup, which may securely back up your app data to your Google account if enabled in your device settings.

In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

Our Service offers in-app purchases and subscriptions processed through the Google Play Billing System. We do not collect or store your payment card details or billing information. All such information is collected and processed by Google Play in accordance with their own Privacy Policy. We only receive confirmation of successful purchases or subscription status to unlock your premium features.

Device Permissions and Usage

To provide its core functionality, the Elite Alarm app requires certain permissions on your Android device. We only request permissions that are strictly necessary:

  • Alarms & Reminders: We require permissions to schedule exact alarms (SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM, USE_EXACT_ALARM), run foreground services, and use vibration (VIBRATE) to ensure alarms alert you precisely on time. The app also uses permission to restart alarms automatically when your device reboots (RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED).
  • Notifications: We request permission to post notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS) to alert you of upcoming alarms.
  • Display Over Other Apps: To ensure you see the alarm screen immediately, we use permissions to launch full-screen intents and display over other apps (SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW, USE_FULL_SCREEN_INTENT).
  • Media & Storage Access: If you choose to use custom music as your alarm ringtone, we request access to read audio files (READ_MEDIA_AUDIO). For custom images or videos used as alarm backgrounds, the app utilizes the secure Android Photo Picker. This ensures the app only accesses the specific files you choose. This data never leaves your device.
  • Camera & Microphone: We may request access to your Camera (CAMERA) and Microphone (RECORD_AUDIO) specifically for completing "Missions" (like scanning a barcode or speaking) to dismiss an alarm. We do not record or upload your photos or voice data.
  • Advertising ID: We use the Google Advertising ID (com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID) to provide personalized advertisements through third-party networks.
  • Internet Access: We require basic network access (INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE) for optional services like analytics or ads.

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.
